Why these exist
Most gym timers and calculators are buried under adverts or want an account before they show you a number. These do one job each and get out of the way. Open the page, use it, close it.
They are made by the team behind Fiz, a free app for functional and hybrid training where you log the workouts these tools help you run: scores, personal records, benchmark leaderboards and week-by-week programs. You never need the app to use the tools, though.
Where to start
- Running a class? Set up the WOD timer, copy the link and drop it in the class notes.
- Starting a strength block? Put your last heavy set into the 1RM calculator, train off the percentage chart and let the plate calculator do the maths at the bar.
- Training for a hybrid race? Plan your 1 km repeats with the running pace calculator and your erg stations with the rowing pace calculator.
- Building an engine? Work out your heart rate zones so easy days stay easy.
- Need a workout to time? Browse the workout library, from EMOMs to AMRAPs.
