First Compromise
Your first taste of running on cooked legs. Four rounds of forty wall balls into a 600m run. The lesson is pacing: start the run far slower than feels right, because the wall balls have already taxed the exact muscles you run with. The score is total time.

How to approach First Compromise
First Compromise loads the quads, glutes, shoulders and cardiovascular system hardest. Calves, hamstrings and core take a share of the work too. Go out slower than feels natural: the opening effort is the one you can most afford to give away, and the positions you protect early are what you'll still have at the end.
First Compromise is scored on total time: the clock stops when the last rep is done, and a faster time ranks higher. A 30 mins cap applies, so anything unfinished at the buzzer is where your score lands.
