Sled Foundations
Week 1 sled base. Six rounds of a 25m push into a 25m pull at a moderate load — learn to drive with the whole body and breathe under load. Keep the sled moving; short, choppy steps beat long lunges. This is where the season's sled volume starts.

How to approach Sled Foundations
Sled Foundations loads the glutes, quads, hamstrings and calves hardest. Upper back, core and shoulders take a share of the work too. Go out slower than feels natural: the opening effort is the one you can most afford to give away, and the positions you protect early are what you'll still have at the end.
Sled Foundations is scored on total time: the clock stops when the last rep is done, and a faster time ranks higher. A 25 mins cap applies, so anything unfinished at the buzzer is where your score lands.
