Taper Primer
Race week begins. Three easy rounds of a 200m run into a light push-and-pull — just enough to keep the patterns sharp while the fatigue drains out of your legs. This should feel almost too easy. It is meant to. Trust the taper; the work is already done.

How to approach Taper Primer
Taper Primer loads the quads, glutes, calves and hamstrings hardest. Cardiovascular system, upper back and core take a share of the work too. Go out slower than feels natural: the opening effort is the one you can most afford to give away, and the positions you protect early are what you'll still have at the end.
Taper Primer is scored on total time: the clock stops when the last rep is done, and a faster time ranks higher. A 20 mins cap applies, so anything unfinished at the buzzer is where your score lands.
